10 THINGS NEVER TO SAY TO A DEPRESSED PERSON D epression is neither a normal nor an easy journey. Some people are more prone to it than others. I have been ‘normal’ and I have felt depression, so I can say i have been a player for both teams and I understand to an extent what each team is about. This list was born out of my feeling ‘sick’ each time my best friend would ask me “how do you feel today?”   I wince every single time I see that message and I draw back from her a little bit farther. I started to talk to some of my people and they also too said some shitty things that just drove me in deeper. Although I know people generally mean well, these are things you should not say to a depressed person. These are the 13 things I learnt from my first time on a plane

I remember standing on the staircase in the Transmission Company of Nigeria talking to Whitepeng and I can still remember the shock and humor on his face and voice when I said I had never been on a plane. That was in year 2014, now it is year 2018, I am 26+ years old and I just recently broke my flying hymen (it sounds dirty). The first thing you should understand is that I am Ijebu.
