SOULMATE ; 10 SIGNS THEY ARE PROBABLY YOURS



I can’t help but think about E.E
So I have been trying to complete this book I started to write two years ago. The book is titled ‘love, lust and life’ or ‘could this be…...’ (Not sure of the title yet sha)

I have been having dreams about E.E lately, so today I finally decided to reach out to him… via text/social media because I really don’t want to call, aka i am a coward, a jealous one. Anyways as I am still waiting for his reply I can’t help but think the word ‘soulmate’.
Soulmate according to some definition online is a person with whom one has a strong affinity, shared values and tastes, and often a romantic bond.
That extract was written based off of my on/off thing with E.E. I have never valued relationships, I always found people boring and only hold on to anyone that lights my soul up; I rarely find that. But fast forward or rewind… E.E happened
You see everyone wants to find their soulmate and a lot of us consciously or subconsciously chase it till the very end or till we get tired and we just give up but question is how do you know you have found that person that lits your soul afire? Soulmate from what I understand is supposed to have a short time in your life, they arrive in your life to awaken you but apparently that can’t be forever because the relationship you have can be intense, too intense. Long story short, I think E.E was mine and this were some of the things I felt/feel a soulmate is all about.

Your relationship with your soulmate may not last forever but there is always love there
Your connection is intense, it can be extremely all that one moment and then all lows in the next moment ‘on and off’ cruise
Your relationship is emotionally challenging, especially for someone that doesn’t connect easily, they will bring shit out in you that you did not know existed.

You have dejavu moments and they make you internally happy
You feel like you have known them your whole life
You will experience huge shifts in your life when you meet this person
You are most honest with them, you are authentic with them without fear or shame.
Your relationship feels hella special, feels safe.
The kisses, romance and sex…. Well, in my case it didn’t happen… so I don’t know
You both listen to jcole’s power trip and consider it your soundtrack or maybe it’s miguel’s how many drinks.
Well, all of that and then the off cycle come around or maybe he got himself a great girlfriend. Lol
Or maybe I don’t know what the hell I am talking about and I just need E.E. to finish my book.

I have been ‘normal’ and I have felt depression, so I can say i have been a player for both teams and I understand to an extent what each team is about.
